SUPPORT THESE GREAT ORGANIZATIONS:

CONNOR’S CLIMB FOUNDATION:

The mission of Connor’s Climb is to provide suicide prevention education to New Hampshire youth and the community. We do this by raising awareness, reducing the stigma around mental health, and equipping youth, educators, and communities with tools and resources focused on the vulnerable age group of 10-24 year olds. We collaborate with teachers and schools, the public, and the mental health system to ensure that the young people of New Hampshire have the life-saving resources needed to prevent suicide. Through the implementation of suicide education programs in New Hampshire schools, Connor’s Climb Foundation helps educators and students foster help-seeking behaviors so that youth in need of supportive services either reach out for them, or get referred to them by a peer, coach, teacher or other trusted adult. Our goal is to ensure that the youth of New Hampshire do not reach the point of crisis. Instead, they will know the warning signs of suicide, and they will know what to do when they see those signs in themselves or someone else.

LAKES REGION MENTAL HEALTH CENTER:

Founded in 1966, Lakes Region Mental Health Center is a private, nonprofit organization providing specialized behavioral health services in Belknap and southern Grafton Counties. We provide services to 24 surrounding towns, and nearly 4,000 patients each year. Core programs include: counseling & mental health services for children and adults, psychiatric emergency services, 24/7 mobile crisis response services, addiction treatment and recovery, residential and employment programs for adults, physical health and nutrition programs, neurocognitive services for older adults and community wellness education and training. By working in partnership with other health care providers, hospitals, law enforcement, corrections, courts, school districts, social workers and public health officials, we are able to provide a continuum of care for our patients and improve the quality of life in the Lakes Region.

LIBERTY HOUSE:

Liberty House serves two groups of Veterans. First, we serve up to eighteen residents who are in recovery, challenged with traumatic brain injury, post traumatic stress and/or moral injury. They typically stay with us for 11 to 12 months as they work through our 4-Step Model toward independence. Second, we provide food, clothing, toiletries, camping gear, bus passes, gas cards, information and referrals to Veterans from the community. Additionally, we have a Veterans Center where any Veteran is welcome to come in for coffee and share time with other Veterans.

MONADNOCK PEER SUPPORT:

Monadnock Peer Support was founded in 1995 and uses the Intentional Peer Support model as an alternative that compliments and supplements the traditional mental health system. We are a member-driven organization that provides opportunities for people who experience mental health to support one another in moving towards what we want in life as opposed to away from what we don’t want. We also establish a culture in which our members and participants feel more empowered and less dependent on traditional mental health care.

SEACOAST MENTAL HEALTH CENTER:

The mission of SMHC is to provide a broad, comprehensive array of high quality, effective, and accessible services to residents of the eastern half of Rockingham County. Services are provided to children, adolescents, adults, and families, regardless of an individual’s ability to pay. SMHC’s goal is to empower a family unit and/or individual to build upon health, community, and resilience within a collaborative treatment model where services are designed to meet clients where they are at both physically and psychologically. Services are available in a variety of ways: in two offices, various community settings (including schools, primary care offices) and via telehealth. Visit us online to learn about the wide array of programs and supports, as well as access behavioral health educational resources.
