ARTIST SPOTLIGHT:
Melody Squires is a 63-year-old from Brattleboro, VT. She has two types of Cerebral Palsy and is confined to a wheelchair all the time. She can’t use her hands at all, so she was introduced to a head stick which is a helmet with a rod sticking out of it. Her art teacher ultimately decided to tape a paintbrush to the end of the rod and that is how Melody now creates her work.
