ARTIST SPOTLIGHT:
KK Foster is a teacher, artist, and lyricist from New Jersey. They are also an Eco-Creator for a nonprofit organization creating positive change in the world, Start the Wave. They are Queer, Gender-Fluid, and Non-Binary. They seek to spread love, kindness, positivity, and inclusivity through their art. KK cares deeply about mental health and hopes to create connection through their work; to let people know they matter. KK began drawing at the age of 10, and started writing poetry and lyrics around the age of 12. They are currently focused on eco-art, digital art, drawing, painting, writing lyrics, writing self-love mantras, and learning guitar. KK loves using bright colors, lyrics with gentle reminders, and music of all kinds. Creating means so much to KK; it’s truly a part of who they care and comes from the heart and soul. KK believes creativity they can help change the world in so many ways, and the hope is that they can be a small part in creating a little more love and positive change.
