This design is part of our 25 Shirts | 25 Stories | 1 Epic Week Project. For five days, Ryan is living inside one of our print shops, and collaborating with 25 incredible people to transform their stories into wearable art. From the first conversation to the final print, each shirt captures a moment that deserves to be remembered — this is one of them.

In 2017, Martha lost her 19-year-old son, Jason, to suicide. Jason was known for his kind heart, his compassion, and the way he always put others before himself.
Rather than letting his story end there, Martha and her family have dedicated themselves to carrying Jason's legacy forward through acts of kindness, a scholarship in his honor, and advocacy for youth mental health. This design is inspired by some of Jason's favorite things — sunflowers, butterflies, and swordfish — and serves as a reminder that kindness lives on long after we're gone, and that one life can leave a lasting impact on countless others.
Martha's Cause:
The Jason Dickey Memorial Scholarship is an annual award at Merrimack Valley High School, generally worth $1500. It is frequently awarded to a graduating senior who plans to pursue higher education in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or the Behavioral Sciences.
