ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Alyssa Pine 

I used flowers and a style of a tattoo, to represent the power that kindness has on the soul. That one act of kindness can cause a lasting impression on somebody forever, just like a tattoo.

Alyssa Pine is a hippie soul with a head full of dreams, and tries to live life as large as she can. Her love of painting came on the heels of opening and designing restaurants alongside her father in their local NH seacoast community. A light sparked when she painted a small mural during a remodel of one of their bars, and she was quickly hired for dozens of murals. Soon after, she submitted designs to CK and found a new purpose and opportunity to grow as an in-house designer, creating dozens of designs.

Recently, Alyssa opened a small boutique to support other small business owners and encourage people to live by a free spirit lifestyle. Her favorite part about designing for CK is having her apparel designs as “walking billboards”, which can be seen by anyone in need of a message of positivity and love. As beautiful as her mind can be, it is also a very dark and challenging place for her, and she works daily to overcome those challenges. She wants to spread kindness and love, and remind anyone in need of the same, that they are not alone.
